Th new state of Mississippi license plates have been released, and with them comes a new design for the Mississippi State University version of that car tag.

It's a great way to show others that you support Mississippi State, and a portion of the money goes back to the university for unrestricted use.
Alumni and friends who already have purchased their new license plates still can upgrade to the Mississippi State plate by requesting the tag at their county tax assessor's office and paying the $50 fee.
Alumni and friends in Mississippi are not the only ones who can show their support of Mississippi State on their license plates. Tennessee residents may now purchase a Mississippi State license plate in that state. The tags (shown at right) are available for a $25 annual fee above the normal cost of the license plate. Proceeds go to support the Tennessee Arts Commission.
| For more information on either license plate program, contact your local county courthouse, or contact the Alumni Association at 662-325-2434. |
