Mississippi State alumnus Cornelius Denson, right, recently presented three panels of his artwork to actor Morgan Freeman. The 1996 graphic design graduate from Clinton created the series to honor Freeman, a role model since the actor appeared on "The Electric Company," a 1970s educational television series. Freeman, a Charleston resident, has endowed a scholarship for minority students at the College of Veterinary Medicine, which has treated several of Freeman's horses over the years. Also pictured is Felicia Perez of Crawford, Denson's fiancee.
