

The exhibit, which runs through Oct. 28, represents a departure for the artist, who is best known for his finely crafted large-format black and white images of the natural environment. Icons, Artifacts, and Questions is a personal exploration of Stocker's interpretation of "religious practices and ironies" he has observed in the Southern Bible Belt.
The exhibit hangs in the Department of Art Gallery in McComas Hall. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. For information on group tours, call Lisa Hale at 325-6900.
