Home Ec offers study tour in France

The Department of Home Economics is offering a study tour abroad to France during spring break, March 10-19, 1995.

The itinerary highlights places and sites with an educational emphasis in apparel, textiles, merchandising, and interior design.

Cost of the tour is $2,200 per person (double occupancy), and is based on a minimum of 20 participants. A $500 deposit is due by

Nov. 1. The price includes roundtrip airfare, transportation in France, hotels, continental breakfasts, three group dinners, porterage, taxes and gratuities, entrance fees, and travel insurance.

Tour stops include the Arc de Triumph, Champs-Elysees, Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame, Versailles, Chartes Cathedral, and more than 25 other historic and distinctive landmarks.

The study tour may be taken for one to three hours of undergraduate or graduate credit. Course requirements include participation in lectures prior to departure and during the tour, reading assignments, and completion of a term project related to a specific area of study.
