Landscape Design Symposium held on campus

More than 200 participants came to hear Van L. Cox, right, and Edward C. Martin Jr. at the 39th Mississippi Landscape Design Symposium at Mississippi State. Cox is a member of the Louisiana State University School of Landscape Architecture faculty. Martin is professor emeritus of landscape architecture at Mississippi State and founder of the landscape design symposium. The symposium is sponsored by the Garden Clubs of Mississippi Inc. in cooperation with the university's Department of Landscape Architecture. Representing the Garden Clubs is its president, Mrs. Robert V.M. Harrison.
