Bryan Nesbit, a banking and finance major, was elected at KA's recent National Leadership Institute in Houston, Texas. He was chosen by representatives of the 130 active collegiate chapters and will represent all undergraduate members on the organization's national executive council.
Nesbit also is serving this year as secretary for the campus KA chapter, one of the university's oldest social fraternities.
In addition to attending periodic executive meetings, the 1992 Jackson Academy graduate will represent the student membership in other activities around the country.
During the summer, Nesbit was one of 19 Orientation Leaders, students chosen to assist incoming freshmen and transfers in registering and preparing for college life. He is beginning service with another campus service group, the Alumni Delegates. Last year, he was selected for membership in Lambda Sigma honor society.
The Mississippi State chapter of Kappa Alpha Order was chartered in 1927.
