Hwy. 82/Lakewood Drive entrance closed for repairs

The Lakewood Drive entrance to campus from Highway 82 will be closed for repairs Thursday and Friday, Sept. 1 and 2.

The much-used concrete lane runs approximately north to south from U.S. Highway 82 to Humphrey Coliseum between Chadwick Lake and the Pitts Tennis Center, Maddox Track, Shira Field House, and Dudy Noble Field.

The road will be closed from the highway to the vicinity of the coliseum, said Peter Rook, assistant director of the University Physical Plant.
