Herbert Hall Conference Center available for campus use

A refurbished residence hall, Herbert offers 70 rooms, each equipped with linens, a refrigerator, sink and telephone, said Shay McDonnall, assistant director for conference housing.

"These rooms are available at very reasonable rates for individuals who have university-related business," she explained. Such business might include on-campus conferences or classes or visits by prospective students, she said.

The conference center also offers a kitchen equipped with stove, refrigerator and ice machine; lounges with microwaves and televisions; and baths that also feature coin-operated washers and dryers.

Rooms and restrooms are wheelchair-accessible, McDonnall said.

Rates during the school year are $15 per day for single occupancy, $20 for double occupancy, and $25 for triple occupancy. Group rates are available.
