Visiting Finnish lecturer addresses fall convocation

Vehmanen is a professor of accounting. In his address, he discussed “An Introduction to Differences in Management Accounting Cultures—American, Japanese, German, and Scandinavian Views.”

In addition, Vehmanen served as a visiting lecturer with the school Aug. 29-Sept. 2. He also served as a visiting professor here during the 1990-91 academic year.

Vehmanen received his doctorate from the University of Tampere, Finland, and served on the faculty there and at the University of Oulu.
