

United Way campaign under way on campus
The 1996 Mississippi State United Way campaign is now under way, with a goal of $72,000.
More than 130 staff members will provide leadership for the campaign, which concludes Nov. 1.
The Mississippi State chairman is Leroy H. Boyd. Other volunteer leaders and their divisions or units include:
- Academic Affairs--School of Architecture, Bob Ford; College of Arts and Sciences, Linda Southward; College of Business and Industry, Larry White and Rachel Singleton; College of Education, Betty Purvis; College of Engineering, Jim Epps; all others, Debra Fairbrother.
- Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine--College of Agriculture and Home Economics, Angela Reed; School of Forest Resources and Forest Products Laboratory, Barbara Perrigen; College of Veterinary Medicine, Margaret Kern; MCES, Madolyn Golden; MAFES, Sarah Liddell.
- Business Affairs--Richard Swann.
- Institutional Advancement--Sammy McDavid.
- Student Affairs--Chris Chance.
- Research--Abner Harrison.
- Athletics--Johnie Cooks.
- Student Campaign--Valerie Tallon.
