

Graduate students in science and engineering have until Dec. 1 to apply for two National Science Foundation summer programs in Japan.
To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a science or engineering graduate program and be pursuing studies in areas of science or engineering supported by NSF, the National Institutes of Health or the Agricultural Research Service.
Those who participate in the 1996 Summer Institute in Japan will intern with a Japanese government, corporate or university laboratory in Tokyo or Tsukuba. Those in the 1996 Monbusho Summer Program will intern at a national university or inter-university research institute.
