The roar of the greasepaint...
Sam Smiley, adjunct professor of theater arts at the University of Arizona, watches rehearsals for his play "The Treasure of Tralee" at the University Theatre of McComas Hall. The play was presented here in early November. A children's tale of wizards, swordfights, and hidden treasure, it was written by Smiley as a tribute to his grandson. According to Jeffery Elwell, director of theater at Mississippi State and coordinator of Smiley's visit, the play was Mississippi State's entry into the state American College Theater Festival, held recently on campus.
