Regenerative facility
A model facility demonstrating ways to reduce dependence on energy and addressing landscape management was on display recently in the Colvard Union. The model, developed by fifth-year landscape architecture students, shows how man can design his landscapes to live in harmony with nature and become less dependent on nonrenewable resources. Looking at the multi-departmental project are, from left, Tomomi Fujita, landscape architecture major; Dr. Tom Cathcart, agricultural and biological engineering; Beth Miller, home economics; and Cindy Simpson, interior design major.
