Sponsored Programs provides support and services to university faculty and staff in their efforts to successfully seek external funding for research, education and public service projects, and assistance in post-award and contract administration.
Other services provided by Sponsored Programs include the dissemination of information on funding sources, federal budgets and funding guidelines. We maintain a comprehensive library and information data bases on potential funding sources and programs. Our staff can help you identify potential sources of program support and assist in making agency and private contacts. Our staff can also offer assistance in developing competitive grant and contract proposals.
The program administrators of Sponsored Programs will assist you with the submission of the proposal and provide you with information on post-award activity. Our University Patent Officer and University Techology Licensing Officer will work with staff and faculty members to develop patentable inventions, find funding for the patenting process, and then find a commercial outlet for the technology.
These are just a few of the services that we provide to the faculty and staff. To find out how Sponsored Programs might be of help to you, please visit us at 305 Bowen Hall or call us at 325-7404. We can also be contacted through WorldWide Web page on the MSU server: http://www.msstate.edu/Dept/SPA/spa.html.
