Continuing Ed offers array of non-credit courses

Noncredit courses offered by Continuing Education during February include:

First aid for industrial wounds, Feb. 3 and 13, 9 a.m.-noon. Open and closed wounds, burn injuries, and dressings and bandages.

Getting more done through delegation, Feb. 6 through March 13, 6-9 p.m. How to create cooperation and trust, give employees authority and responsibility, avoid mistakes in delegating, and promote communication.

Learning TQM tools, Feb. 18, 8 a.m.-noon. Total quality management tools, applications.

Be your own press agent, Feb. 21, 8 a.m.-noon. How to write a press release, recognize media needs, and improve press coverage.

Program budgeting in a dynamic environment, Feb. 22, 1-4 p.m. How to avoid cost overruns, forecast revenues and expenses, and understand profit/loss analysis.

Industrial safety and accident prevention, Feb. 23, 1-4 p.m. Causes of industrial accidents, recognizing hazards, and reducing and preventing accidents.
