

Noncredit computer courses offered
A variety of noncredit computer courses will be offered by the Division of Continuing Education in April.
Dates, times and subjects are:
- SAS Basics, April 21, 12:30-4:30 p.m., 105 Dorman Hall. Participants will be introduced to the Statistical Analysis System, a data processing and analysis language used in academics, business and industry.
- FTP and Gopher: Powerful Tools of the Internet, April 21, 12:30-4:30 p.m., 264 Allen Hall. The course will cover file transfer protocol and gopher, two Internet tools, as well as their respective search mechanisms, "archie" and "veronica."
- Word 6.0 for Windows-Advanced, April 21, 12:30-4:30 p.m., 105 Dorman Hall. Topics include multiple document windows, sorting, merge, graphics, columns, tables, and other features of this software program.
- Quattro Pro. 5.0 for Windows, April 28, 12:30-4:30 p.m., 253 IED Building. Participants will be introduced to window and spreadsheet concepts, toolbars, data entry, and other Quattro Pro commands. The course requires basic computer proficiency.
