

Noncredit courses available this month
Noncredit courses in subjects ranging from risk management to self-directed work teams will be available this month.
The courses are offered by the university's Division of Continuing Education. Dates, times and subjects are:
- Managing negativity in the workplace, April 17, 1-5 p.m., Memorial Hall. Participants will learn the causes of pessimism, cynicism and negative attitudes in the workplace.
- Self-directed work teams, April 19, 1-4 p.m., Memorial Hall. Participants will learn how self-directed work teams are reducing costs, improving quality and offering better customer service. The program is designed for managers, supervisors, business owners, and manager trainees.
- How to plan and run productive meetings, Tuesdays, April 25-May 20, 6-9 p.m., Memorial Hall. The course provides training in organizing, planning and communicating effectively for meetings.
