Karen Williams is administrative secretary for the Mississippi Technical Assistance Program for Pollution Prevention, a unit of the Chemical Engineering and Home Economics departments. She has worked at the university for the past five years and says she most enjoys being part of an organization that helps state businesses and industries solve their pollution problems. The Maben resident spends much of her off-work time designing and making various arts and crafts items as gifts for family and friends. She also enjoys antique shows and sales, and recently traveled with other members of her family to visit the Royal Street shops in New Orleans' French Quarter. Karen's most recent favorite movie: "When a Man Loves a Woman"; last book read, "Forest Gump."
