Boosting Mother Earth
These children got a lesson in taking care of the planet at this year's School Days on the Farm. They were among more than 6,000 K-4 students from across the state who attended the 12th annual gathering. Besides encountering giant replicas of the Earth, students got to meet farm animals up close and personal and learn about new nutrition guidelines.
