The appearance of ESPN basketball commentator Dick Vitale at the Colvard Union will include a book signing and a sound alike contest.
Vitale will be on campus Feb. 6 to autograph copies of his book, "Holding Court: Reflections on the Game I Love," in the bookstore, 2-3:30 p.m.
Five winners of the Dick Vitale Sound Alike Contest will receive complimentary copies of the sports personality's book and T-shirts. All participants will receive a mug from the bookstore.
WMXU-FM also will be on hand, beginning at 1:30 p.m.. The station's sportscaster, Terry O'Neill, will give away pizza, soft drinks, T-shirts, and CDs.
