Campus credit union still open for business

The long-established Lloyd-Ricks Building branch of the Jackson USDA Federal Credit Union will continue to provide faculty and staff with a full range of financial services, even though a new off-campus branch has opened.

"MSU employees have easy access to their credit union accounts without having to leave the university," explained campus branch manager Pat Etheridge.

Cash withdrawals, deposits, loans, and more can be transacted from the

17 Lloyd-Ricks office, Etheridge added. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.

The eighth largest credit union in the state, the Jackson-based repository currently serves more than 11,000 members. Traditional financial services are offered, including savings, checking, investments, loans, mortgages, credit cards, ATMs, debit cards, and direct deposit. Payroll deduction is provided through the university.

The new local branch is located in Starkville at 333 Highway 12 West.

To become a member, contact Etheridge at 325-3940 for more information.
