Students and others can get a peek at future job possibilities when the university presents two conferences in January and hosts spring Career Day next month.
A nationwide teleconference, "Your Internship: Find It-Go For It-Get It!" is scheduled for Jan. 28, Bost Conference Center Theater, 3-4 p.m.
On Jan. 29, a mini-conference, "From Backpack to Briefcase: Resumes-Interviews-Job Search," will take place on the third floor of the Colvard Union, 5-7:30 p.m. Communication professor Hank Flick will be featured in the general session, followed by content sessions presented by the Career Services Center staff.
Spring Career Day is set for Feb. 5, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m., at Humphrey Coliseum.
In addition to full-time employment, Career Day provides information on internships and summer jobs, career planning, and opportunities at graduate and professional schools.
Display spaces still are available for employers and organizational representatives who have not yet signed up or previously participated.
