Knight Kiplinger (second from left), editor of Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine and co-editor of The Kiplinger Washington Letter, lectured on campus recently. While here, Kiplinger and his father, Austin (second from right), donated $250,000 to the College of Business and Industry from their not-for-profit Kiplinger Foundation. The gift will be used to start the James O. Mayor Fund for Excellence in Business Education. Welcoming the Kiplingers to the university are, (l-r) Dean Harvey Lewis, retired Rear Adm. James Mayo, MSU alumnus and first student body president of the business college; and President Donald Zacharias. Mayo retired from the Kiplinger organization as director of the weekly letter.
