To mark its 50th anniversary, the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work is hosting a retrospective and a tailgate party as a part of Homecoming '97.
The festivities begin Oct. 24 at 1:30 p.m. when alumni and faculty are introduced in 126 Bowen. In addition, department head Martin Levin, along with several faculty members, will discuss changes in the department and the field during the last 50 years.
A tour of the Social Science Research Center in the Research and Technology Park will follow.
On Oct. 25, faculty members and graduate students will host a tailgate party on the front lawn of Bowen Hall, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
