Anne Tolar, College of Business and Industry, was one of 600 administrators, faculty, staff, and students who signed up for the first Campus Sweep. During the two days, volunteers picked up 500 bags of trash and countless cigarette butts, spread 10 cubic yards of mulch and used some 15 gallons of paint. They also found two hub caps and a car hood. The Campus Beautification Committee organized the event in an effort to improve the campus' appearance.
