An expert on creativity and intelligence will speak here Oct. 29.
Dr. Robert J. Sternberg, IBM professor of psychology and education at Yale University, will discuss "Successful Intelligence" at a 3:30 p.m. appearance in Lee Hall auditorium.
He has written more than 600 articles, books and book chapters, including "Beyond IQ," "The Triangle of Love," "Metaphors of Mind," and "Thinking Styles and Successful Intelligence."
Sternberg's visit is the first fall lecture in the Byars-Wheeler Eminent Lecturer Series in Pyschology. His appearance also is sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences Colloquium Committee.
