Mississippi State and Starkville have been selected as the site of the Southeastern Section of the American Physical Society meeting in the year 2000.
The announcement was made at a recent SESAPS banquet in Nashville, according to Dr. Rodney B. Piercey, head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
Joining the department in hosting the event will be the Diagnostic Instrumentation and Analysis Laboratory.
