Library commemorates state Archives Week

Archives reminder

University archivist Mike Ballard reminds all campus units that at least two copies of all university publications should be sent to the University Archives, Mitchell Memorial Library, Mail Stop 9570.
An exhibit featuring Mitchell Memorial Library's Special Collections will kick off the Sixth Annual Mississippi Archives Week around the state.

Sponsored by the Society of Mississippi Archivists, the week of Nov. 1-9 is designed to educate people about the resources available in Mississippi's archives and the public's role in supporting the state's archivists.

"Highlights of Mississippi State University's Library Special Collections" will remain on display in the second-floor lobby during the month of November. It features items from the four divisions of Special Collections: Congressional Collection, Manuscripts, Mississippiana, and University Archives.
