

Nominations for 1996-97 Distinguished Staff Awards are due by Feb. 21.
The annual awards are sponsored by the Professional and Support Staff Advisory Council and honor outstanding professional and support employees.
Staffers must have worked at the university at least three years and must be employed at least half time from one of the following EEOC categories:
Faculty, staff and students may nominate persons for the awards. Each recipient will receive $1,000 and a plaque during the annual Employee Recognition Program April 9.
Nomination forms and three (and only three), one-page letters of recommendation must be mailed by the deadline to Kay Holland, PSSAC secretary, Mail Stop 9603.
