The campus transit system has added a third route to its fare-free shuttle operation. The green route joins the gray and maroon routes which began last year. The new one-bus route begins at the Humphrey Coliseum parking lot and will stop on the west side of the Allen Hall parking lot, at Montgomery Hall and at Giles Hall.
The two-bus maroon route begins at the coliseum parking lot and includes stops beside Evans Hall, behind Hilbun Hall, in Lee Hall Circle, near the southeast end of Scott Field, in front of Giles Hall, and at Aiken Village.
Also utilizing two buses, the gray route starts behind the Kappa Alpha House, with stops on Hill Top Circle, Stone Boulevard, Magruder Street, and beside Montgomery Hall.
Faculty, staff and students who ride the shuttle may park in the coliseum parking lot and pay a $1 annual decal fee. Buses begin operation at 6:45 a.m. during class days.
A color map of the campus transit system may be viewed on the university's web site by accessing <msuinfo.ur.msstate.edu/where/> and then clicking on "campus shuttle routes."
