

New items on the university web site (the state's oldest):
Memo is now available in Adobe Acrobat PDF format via the university web page. By using this program, readers may view the newsletter in a format identical to the printed version. Go to the university home page <www.msstate.edu> and click on "News." From there, click on "MSU Memo," then "most recent issue." Finally, (at the bottom of the page) click on "This issue of MSU Memo in Acrobat PDF Format." There is a link to download the Acrobat reader for those lacking the program.
An MSU screensaver for Microsoft Windows may be downloaded (click on "Alumni and Friends") and a chat room may be accessed by clicking on "Alumni and Friends" and then "Dawg Pound."
Information about the W.L. Giles Distinguished Professors may be found at <msuinfo.ur.msstate.edu/distprof/>.
Visitors to the Walk of Honor site at <www.ur.msstate.edu/walk_of_honor/> may search for inscription and location of memorial bricks on the walk.
Most student e-mail addresses can be found at <msuinfo.ur.msstate.edu/search/email.htm>.
The Bully Board message center at <msuinfo.ur.msstate.edu/wwwboard/> is "for discussion of all things relating to MSU."
The Cobb Institute of Archaeology web site <www.cobb.msstate.edu/>, which includes the Digmaster database <www.cobb.msstate.edu/dig/> was rated four stars out of four and included in Netguide's Best of the Web.
