Marketing professor Louis M. Capella (l) is the outstanding academic adviser for 1998. Capella, who holds a doctorate from Xavier University, has advised MSU students at both the bachelor's- and graduate-degree levels for more than two decades. A member of the College of Business and Industry faculty, he received the honor during the Jan. 26 general faculty meeting. Extending congratulations is President Malcolm Portera. With the honor, Capella becomes the university's nominee for national advising honors.
