Cashier's Office to divide services between buildings

While the Cashier's Office has relocated its student accounting services, the Allen Hall office will remain open for departmental transactions for faculty and staff.

Primary student services now will be handled at the office's new Garner Student Services Complex just off Barr Avenue. The office is adjacent to the Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Office in Garner. The Registrar's Office also will be relocating soon to the complex, completing the transition of student services.

Although the Garner office primarily will provide full services to students, faculty and staff may use the office for departmental services if the location is more convenient than Allen Hall.

Garner hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday.

The current Allen Hall location will remain the primary faculty and staff service location.

However, the Allen location will be undergoing renovations and Ronald S. Brown, associate comptroller, is encouraging patrons to be patient as some inconveniences may occur.

Brown said his office is anxious to hear faculty and staff opinions on the changes, particularly in the new emphases on primary service areas.

"Other ideas as to how we might improve our service to you also would be welcome," he added.

For more information, or to express an opinion, telephone the office at 325-2071, or e-mail it at <cashiers@comptroller.msstate.edu>.
