Electronic proposal workshop scheduled

The Office of Sponsored Programs is hosting a National Science Foundation FastLane Workshop for electronic proposal submission.

The March 9 workshop for staff and faculty/researchers will be conducted by NSF FastLane administrator Evelyn Baisey-Thomas.

A morning session is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-noon and is designed for research office administrators. A 1:30-3:30 p.m. session will be for faculty/researchers. Both will be held in 204 McCool Hall.

Participants must be registered as FastLane users and should bring their PIN to the workshop. The proposal preparation module will be used, and to access this area participants must be on the NSF PI database.

Anyone not on the NSF PI database may send an e-mail to fladmin@nsf.gov requesting to be added. The request should include name, Social Security number, institution, phone number, e-mail address, and, if appropriate, type and year of highest degree earned. Administrators must be registered in the NSF PI database to participate in the workshop.

Because of limited computer availability, persons interested in the workshop should submit their names by Friday, Feb. 27, by telephoning Robyn Remotigue at 325-3994, or via e-mail <Robyn@spa.msstate.edu>.
