"Hearts" to remember victims of heart problems will be sold March 19 in conjunction with the American Heart Association's Heartwalk.
"Memory Hearts," to memorialize someone who has died from heart disease, and "Honor Hearts," to honor someone surviving a heart attack or episode, will be for sale on the second floor of the Colvard Union, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
The honoree's name will be displayed on the heart and the names read before the April 5 Heartwalk. The hearts also will be exhibited during the walk.
Hearts may be purchased for a $10 donation. All proceeds go to the AHA.
In addition, a blood pressure screening is scheduled 10 a.m.-noon. Organizers are asking for a $1 donation to the AHA.
