

Two English professors have written books which recently were published.
"Lifetime Possession" by Dr. Gary Myers is a collection of original poetry dealing with perceptions and family relations and is published by Riverstone Press of West Chester, Pa.
In addition, the collection was selected from nearly 175 entries as the winner of the Sixth Annual Riverstone Press Poetry Award.
Dr. Richard F. Patteson wrote "Caribbean Passages: A Critical Perspective on New Fiction from the West Indies." It was published by Lynne Rienner Publishers Inc. of Boulder, Colo.
Myers, who earned his doctorate at the University of Houston, teaches creative writing and 20th century poetics.
Patteson directs the department's graduate studies. He earned his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania.
