The very diverse topics of disembodied spirits and good eating habits will have a common bond next week at Mississippi State.
Both are topics of 7 p.m. free, public programs sponsored March 31 and April 2 by the Campus Activities Board.
On Tuesday, paranormal expert Peter Jordan will present a photograph- and video-accompanied lecture in the Simrall Hall auditorium on "Ghosts." His remarks will address the so-called "Amityville Horror" and other cases.
Thursday's program will feature writer and lecturer Deanna M. Latson in the Butler-Williams Alumni Center auditorium. "Eat Right, Feel Good, Look Great!" is the title of her presentation.
Jordan is an investigator with the North Carolina-based Psychical Research Foundation. Science-based searches for evidence of after-life experiences are the primary focus of his lecture.
Latson, a motivational speaker with the Good Thinking Co. of San Diego, Calif., works regularly with students.
