

Faculty members and professionals have until Aug. 1 to apply for Fulbright Senior Scholar Program grants for 1999-2000.
The program offers the grants for lecturing and research in more than 120 countries, with opportunities available in nearly every discipline and specialization.
Applicants may be faculty of all academic ranks, as well as lawyers, journalists, artists and other professionals. They must be U.S. citizens and hold a doctorate or appropriate terminal degree in their field, or have equivalent professional experience and recognized standing.
Fulbright awards range in duration from two months to one academic year.
