Sharon K. Egbert (left) of the state's Department of Rehabilitation Services, visits with Dr. Gary McFadyen (center) of the T.K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability during a recent campus tour. Egbert, who heads the Office on Deafness and Hard of Hearing, stopped by the center with interpreter Shea Dowdle as part of a tour arranged by the Office of Student Support Services. McFadyen showed the guests technology that can benefit those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Egbert also met with staff and faculty at the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision, the Department of Counselor Education and Educational Psychology, the Longest Student Health Center, and Mitchell Memorial Library.
