New John Grisham Room dedicated

Novelist John Grisham (second from right) recently helped dedicate a room named for him in Mitchell Memorial Library. The 1977 graduate’s papers are housed there and the former lawyer who once wrote in his spare time hopes the room will “inspire students to read, possibly to write and, most importantly, to dream.” With him are (l-r) library dean Frances Coleman, President Emeritus Donald Zacharias and President Malcolm Portera. The room is now open to the public Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. To schedule tours, call Sheila Coleman at 325-2559.
