Staff Appreciation Day organizers say past answers to this questionaire have helped them make improvements to the annual event. Previously, the most common complaint was the "lines are too long" at the food stations. This year, all three entrees were served under each of three food tents (instead of a different food under each tent) in an effort to resolve the problem. While some type of line is inevitable, the SAD committee believed standing in line once for food was preferable to standing in line three times.
Also, this year, the arm bands provided the committee with a way to audit how many people were served. For the first time, arm bands (which were required for food service) were turned in at the food stations. To its surprise, the SAD Food Committee found while it planned for 1,200 people, it actually served 2,000! It's now clear that the commitee must prepare to serve at least 2,000 next year.
To help make next year's activities the best yet, please take time to give your opinions and suggestions for improvement.
