Third STS+ class completes training

Dr. Mehrzad Netadj receives award
Vice President for Business Affairs Leah Norman congratulates Dr. Mehrzad "Mo" Netadj of Dining Services on completing his STS+ training.
The latest class to "graduate" from the Support Through Service Plus program brings the number of Business Affairs employees who completed the training to some 125.

STS+ training was introduced in the Office of Business Affairs in 1996 beginning with Vice President Leah Norman and her staff. The program addresses such topics as teamwork, trust, professionalism, communication and problem-solving through a series of speakers and a session in trust and team building at Camp Seminole.

STS+ is being implemented by MSU's PRO-MISS Institute of Leadership. PRO-MISS, or Promoting Rural Opportunities in Mississippi, helps participants improve personal communication and leadership skills.
