The annual brunch is an opportunity for the club to welcome old and new faculty wives, faculty and professional staff.
The brunch is scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at President and Mrs. Malcolm Portera's home at 891 Morrill Road. Shuttle service will be available from the Cinema 12 Theater parking lot beginning at 10:45 a.m.
During the academic year, the club meets monthly for bridge, lunch and a speaker. In addition, it annually sponsors scholarships for outstanding female graduate students.
Members of the 1998-89 Executive Committee are Mildred Stickley, president; Jane Bobbitt, first vice president and brunch chair; Shirley Bennett, second vice president; Doris Wise, secretary; Genevieve Swartzberg, treasurer; Elizabeth Hawkins, yearbook; Margaret Bateman, scholarship; Olivia Portera, special counselor; and Julia Saunders and Sara Foster, advisers.
Interest Group chairs are Lynn Adams, bridge; Jeanne McDaniel, gourmet luncheon; Jean Snyder, knit and stitch; and Alice Jones, "Ladies Night Out."
