Community of Science

Community of Science (COS) is the technology-driven publisher of web-based information products and services that are designed to support and advance the scientific and scholarly communication process.

COS applies powerful, next-generation technologies to speed the creation and delivery of scientific and scholarly information, facilitates the workflow and management of that information, and, in turn, helps define new channels of communications.

In the process, COS empowers like-minded individuals and institutions to convene on the web, to interact, communicate, and share their findings in a secure, organized environment.

COS Expertise

COS Expertise is the premier database of first-person profiles of the researchers at leading research universities and other institutions involved in basis or applied research. It provides comprehensive detailed information about their skills, background, and accomplishments.

This information, supplied by researchers and verified by their institutions, enables you to identify peer reviewers and collaborators; stay current with basic science and academic research; locate who possesses the expertise you need; and provide information to peers and prospective collaborators, as well as funding sources.

Faculty and staff may now access Community of Science by accessing the SPA Homepage at <http://www.msstate.edu/Dept/SPA/>.
