Library holding graduate student information fair

A Sept. 29 and 30 information fair will highlight various resources provided to graduate students by MSU libraries.

The 4-7 p.m. events will take place in the fourth-floor faculty/graduate study area of Mitchell Memorial.

Presentations will be given on government documents, reference, special collections, interlibrary loans and document delivery, technical services, and circulation. Information also will be provided on the library's Instructional Materials Center and a variety of Internet resources.

In addition to information, the programs will feature refreshments and drawings for door prizes.

Questionnaires distributed at the fair will help the library staff plan follow-up workshops on areas of special interest and need. In addition, plans are under way to develop a newsletter specifically aimed at graduate students.

"We're always available to work with graduate students in any ways that improve the effective use of library resources, including individual consultations," she said.

For more information on the information fair, contact Peyton at 325-7671.
