PRO-MISS conference deadline extended

An "early-bird" deadline to register for the second SS Leadership Conference has been extended to Oct. 15 by the PRO-MISS Institute of Leadership.

The conference is Oct. 21 and 22 at the Hilton Hotel in Jackson. Prior to Oct. 15, the registration fee is $195; after the deadline it is $225.

Donna Fisher, author of "People Power" and co-author of "Power Networking," will speak on "Power Networking." In addition, nationally known speaker and humorist Al McCree will present a leadership program entitled, "Casting Your Net."

The conference also will feature mini-workshops on leadership by Dr. Barbara Spencer of MSU's College of Business and Industry, listening skills by Jean Reeves of PRO-MISS, future technology trends by Dr. Dan Brook of Mississippi State Extension computer applications, and customer relations by Dr. Michael Thompson, marketing professor at Delta State University.
