Community of Science Update

In an attempt to keep the Community of Science (COS) Expertise System updated, COS has notified via e-mail those faculty members who currently have an incomplete record in COS Expertise.

Please do not panic! SPA is just attempting to ensure that their system is ready to begin notifying anyone who has submitted a profile in COS Expertise using Funding Alert. Individuals receiving one of these messages should update their profiles.

To update a profile:

  1. Go to the SPA interface to the COS home page <http://www.msstate.edu/dept/spa/cos.html>
  2. Select *Update your Expertise Profile@
  3. Following a set of instructions, updaters will be prompted for user names and passwords:
    USERNAME:
    PASSWORD:

Usernames and passwords are unique to each individual. Please make a note of them for future reference.

The same COS username and password will provide access to COS Funding Alert. For questions or help, contact Lynn Randle at 325-7404 or lynn@spa.msstate.edu
