TITLE: Neurobiological mechanisms of adolescent alcohol abuse

Awards fellowships to AASCU university faculty & administrators who have the potential to impact undergraduate education & have no prior experience in Japanese studies to enable them to participate in an institute on "Incorporating Japanese Studies into the Undergraduate Curriculum" at San Diego State University. The four-week program consists of seminars, lectures, readings, & workshops on the major historical, political, economic, & cultural trends & achievements of the Japanese people. Program: FIPSE Special Focus Competition:    Disseminating Proven Reforms
Agency: U.S. Department of Education
Next Deadline: Jan 15, 1999 (tentative)
Supports the dissemination of innovative, recently established postsecondary education programs. Programs proposed for dissemination should address topics of national interest. Applicants should identify three to six institutions that wish to establish an adaptation of the model on their own campuses. Winter Holiday Proposal Processing Procedure

In preparation for the university winter holiday, the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration would like to remind everyone about holiday proposal submission procedure.

Anyone who has a proposal that must be submitted prior to or during the scheduled winter holiday, should have it ready for submission (including any and all signatures needed) and in the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration by 11a.m. on Monday, Dec. 21.
