Several months ago the university converted to a new comprehensive billing system and faculty, staff and students began receiving a statement for a personal long distance service line.
Recently, Sanderson Center membership fees have been added to the system and other university charges will be converted to the centralized billing system in the near future. University officials are hopeful employees are finding the consolidated billing-which allows a single payment to settle multiple charges-more convenient.
Previously, payment options available included cash, check or credit card. Now, a new payment option is in place. Billing account balances may automatically be deducted from payroll checks.
Application forms are available in the Payment Center at 109 Allen Hall, the Student Account Services Center in Garner Hall or the Payroll Office in 329 McArthur Hall. Or, telephone the Office of the Comptroller and Treasurer at 325-3431 for an application.
Additional services planned for the future include the ability to view account status and to make credit card payments via the World Wide Web.
For more information, contact the comptroller's office at 325-3431.
