New OKSIGGRAPH organization seeks members

A new special interest group for those with an interest in computer graphics is being organized in the area.

Oktibbeha County's Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics Professional Chapter was founded to promote an increased knowledge of and greater interest in the educational, artistic and scientific aspects and applications of modern computing in computer graphics.

OKSIGGRAPH is affiliated with the international Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Groups on Computer Graphics. The new group plans to sponsor activity meetings, conferences, symposia, and workshops.

Membership is open to the Oktibbeha County community, including computer professionals and MSU faculty, staff and students interested in the present and future of computer graphics and interactive techniques.
